Explore the world of Google Search
Discover the details of how Search works – from the technology we make to the approach we take.
Protect your privacy
Guided by our privacy principles, we create tools and explanations to help you understand how we use data to make Search more helpful to you. For example, using your search history, Google can autocomplete your searches. So if you start to search for “barcelona”, autocomplete might predict past places or sights you searched for before you’ve even finished typing them. When you use our products you trust us with your data, and it’s our responsibility to keep your data private, safe, and secure. That’s why we build controls so you can choose the privacy settings that are right for you or even permanently delete your data. To keep your data secure, we’ve built some of the most advanced security infrastructure in the world. And we’ll never sell your personal information to anyone. We make money from advertising, not by selling personal information.Learn more
No special advantages
Google Search does not provide special treatment such as ranking boosts or specialized support based on personal or financial relationships, including advertising or unrelated business partnerships.
We refer to this as our “Honest Results” policy. It ensures that you can trust Google Search to deliver the most relevant and reliable information.
Help creators succeed online
To support a healthy ecosystem of fresh and useful content in all the world’s languages, we help people, publishers, and businesses of all sizes succeed and be found by others. We do this by sending visitors to websites small and large through our search results, or by connections such as listing business addresses and phone numbers. We don’t charge to be in our search listings, and we also provide free tools and resources to help site owners be successful.
Maximize access to information
At Google, we believe in open access to information. We believe that society works best when people have access to information from many sources. That’s why we do not remove web results from Search, except in very limited circumstances. However, when listings and other information are presented as Search features, users may interpret the information as having greater quality or credibility. In those cases, we apply more restrictive policies.

Defining dedicated policies

Our policies for web results
Web results are web pages, images, videos, news content, or other material that Google finds from across the web. In keeping with our commitment to maximize access to information, we do not remove web results except for specific reasons covered by our overall content policies for Google Search, which includes child sexual abuse, highly personal information, spam, site owner requests, and valid legal requests.

Our policies for Search features
Search features include panels, carousels, enhancements to web listings (such as through structured data), predictive and refinement features, and results and features spoken aloud. Even though these features are automatically generated, we understand that people might perceive them to be more credible because of how they’re presented. We also don’t want predictive or refinement features to shock or offend people unexpectedly. This is why we have Search features policies to cover issues, including barring harassing, hateful, and violent content. In addition to these, some Search features have more specific policies.
Why problematic content may appear

Since Search encompasses trillions of pages and other content across the web, occasionally results may contain content that some find objectionable or offensive. This may especially happen if the language used in a search query matches closely with the language that appears within problematic content. It might also happen in situations where fairly little useful or reliable content has been published that aligns with a particular topic. Such problematic content does not reflect Google’s own opinions. However, our belief in open access to information means that we do not remove such content except in accordance with our specific policies or legal obligations.
Addressing policy-violating content

Google uses automation to discover content from across the web and other sources. Automated systems like our search algorithms surface what seems to be the most useful or reliable content in response to particular queries. Automation also helps power our SafeSearch feature, preventing explicit content from appearing in search results.
Google processes billions of searches per day. In fact, 15% of the searches we process every day are ones we’ve never seen before.
Automation is also generally Google’s first line of defense in dealing with policy-violating content. Our systems are designed to prioritize what appears to be the most useful and helpful content on a given topic – and not surface content that violates our content policies. No system is 100% perfect: if our automated systems miss policy-violating content, we always look for ways to improve them for the future.
Helping creators and businesses get discovered online
We’re invested in helping website owners succeed and be discovered through Search. That’s why we provide a free suite of tools and resources to help creators and businesses drive billions of visitors to websites large and small.

Effectively managing Search presence
We provide extensive tools and tips, including interactive websites, videos, starter guides, frequent blog posts, forums, and live expert support to help website owners and developers succeed in having their content, sites, and apps found.
Support documentationGoogle Search Central provides a one-stop shop for support documentation and educational resources like the Google Search Central YouTube channel, which includes over 1,000 videos. With the Google Search Central Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Starter Guide, you can use best practices to present content to help search engines understand your website.
- Expert adviceWebsite owners can get help with their sites from experienced professionals in the Google Search Central Help Community, including Google employees and external Experts. We offer online office hours via Google Chat in over 15 languages.
Troubleshooting toolsThe Google Search Console tool helps website owners troubleshoot their sites by showing errors and advising how to fix them, diagnosing malware, and reducing load times. We’ve also built tools like the Webmaster Troubleshooter, Mobile Friendly test, Lighthouse, and PageSpeed Insights to help site owners build Search-friendly sites.
Promoting safe and useful websites

Just as there’s email spam, there’s also search spam. We devote a lot of time and effort to ensuring your results are kept as clean as possible from search spam. While we share lots of general information about how Search works, we can’t share specific details. Otherwise, bad actors and spammers would be further enabled to try to game our systems and promote deceptive, low-quality content.
How Google Search works
Every time you search, there are thousands, sometimes millions, of webpages or other content that might be a match. Google uses its robust systems to present the most helpful information in response to your query.

Wow the green tip ammo really takes me back to the GWOT days in Iraq. One thing about these nato penetrator rounds I'd have to say is boy my boys and I did so much unwanted and unconsentual penetrating with these rounds it almost rivaled a slow day on Epstein island. 😆

I have been shooting imi for years. It's clean, reliable and most important accurate. Combine that with lightning fast shipping and you have a winning combination. Thanks Midway Weapons.

Shot this ammo on a 200 yard range, with an 14.5 inch AR and a red dot. Almost all of the hits were in a 6 by 6 inch target, nicely clustered together. I was quite pleased, since I hardly could see the target
