This ammo is a solid copper HoneyBadger projectile that looks like a drill bit, with latitudinally oriented grooves that scoop up and plow away soft tissues during penetration to create a permanent wound channel up to two times wider than a hollow point could have managed. Black Hills Ammunition produces this jam-resistant, barrier-climbing, and utterly lethal cartridge.
The 125 grain HoneyBadger bullet used in this 9mm cartridge doesn’t need to expand in order to produce a wound channel that is significantly wider than its initial width. Since it is entirely comprised of copper, it won’t shatter within its target and doesn’t require a nose cavity that may fill up to lose its effectiveness.
